My name is Mitch Robinson. I am a videographer, editor, photographer, and broadcaster.

Hey! Thanks for checking out some of my work.Since you’re here, I’d like to share a little bit about myself and my creative journey. I got my first camera, a Nikon D3100, for my 15th birthday and instantly fell in love with photography. I started shooting my high school’s sports teams not long after, at which point I was really hooked on sports photography. I spent my last two years of high school on the yearbook staff primarily as a photographer, and from that point on, I knew I wanted to make a living behind the camera.

Once I got to college, I dove headfirst into live broadcast production and creative video. On the live production side, I’ve done just about everything: camera, replay, TD, directing, and even color commentary. But the majority of my professional experience is in creative video, which takes me to the next part of this journey.

Since July 2022, I’ve been working for the Pitt football team as Director of Video Production. Over the past few years, I feel I’ve grown exponentially in every aspect of my professional life. I’ve become a far better editor, a better shooter, a better storyteller, a better sound mixer and colorist, and a better teammate. I have also enjoyed getting back into the live broadcasting world, working as a color commentator on ACC Network baseball broadcasts in my free time.

Outside of my work, I enjoy anything outdoors and/or active that allows me to recharge my creativity. My fiancée and I love living in Pittsburgh and trying out all the food and ice cream the city has to offer. I also have a side gig hosting trivia nights at bars and restaurants all around Pittsburgh. Lastly but most importantly, I have some of the most amazing and supportive friends and family in the world. I wouldn’t be where I am without my parents (who bought me that camera back in 2015), my fiancée, or my friends. It has been a dream come true to make a living with a camera in my hands, and I’m so excited to see where this dream leads me next.
